Biography
1996
The band got formed in a small Finnish village called Saari. The first line-up was Henri Tolvanen (vocals), Heikki Honkanen (guitar), Toni Tossavainen (guitar) ja Antti Pekonen (drums).
1997
The band's first gig in Punkaharju took place. As a result the vocalist got fired and guitarist Heikki Honkanen took over the vocal duties.
1998
The band began to write their own material and found a bass player. They got a second gig in Simpele.
1999
The first home demo was made. Another gig, at this time in Mikkeli.
2000
The band chose Frozen Paradise as their name and wrote some new songs. A gig in Imatra was played with a new bass player Leevi Pukki.
2001
Another bass player, Tomi-Pekka Leminen, was recruited. Together, they were training hard for upcoming gigs but got to play only one, again in Imatra.
2002
The band finally found a permanent bass player called Tero Tossavainen and played several gigs.
2003
Their first proper demo CD got recorded at the Sonichouse TM studio in Lappeenranta. However, the band wasn't satisfied with the sound quality of the record and didn't release it. Several gigs.
2004
The band headed to Lappeenranta's Astia-Studio with producer Anssi Kippo to record Challenger, their first official demo release. The result was much more better than on the last time. 500 copies of the demo were printed in The Czech Republic.
